Aesop becomes Saatchi Gallery’s first Sensory Patron
Aesop has partnered with Saatchi Gallery as its first Sensory Patron, promising to "enrich the visitor experience" while offering exclusive design opportunities at its stores.
The luxury brand will exhibit five emerging artists selected by Saatchi Gallery at a number of its stores in London.
Meanwhile, a separate Saatchi-associated artist will design a floral installation at its nearby Duke of York store as part of the neighbourhood’s annual Chelsea in Bloom festival.
Staff from the brand's Duke of York store will also have the opportunity to volunteer in the London-based gallery’s learning department during their working hours.
Bringing its formulations into the bathrooms and galleries, Aesop's products will also be available at its gift shop.
"This is not out of character for a brand that has long been an enthusiastic supporter of the arts, and whose deep-seated creative streak emerges in its nonconformist approach to all endeavours, from customer service to fragrance creation to store design," reads a statement from Aesop.
Aesop’s partnership with Saatchi Gallery will be followed by other such collaborations. In April 2025, the skincare brand will also become the first official Sensory Patron of annual showcase Milan’s Salone del Mobile.
