Aesop's Queer Library is returning to London

The Aesop Queer Library will return to London's Soho from 27-30 June, once again celebrating "the power of queer storytelling".

Founded on a belief in the transformative impact of queer storytelling—its ability to broaden minds, embolden individuals, and unite the community and its allies - the Aesop Queer Library will this year focus on the intersection of queer and racial identities.

As with previous editions, each visitor will be invited to select a complimentary book from the shelves to keep, while stocks last.

The books are selected by Aesop team members, with some books sourced from independent queer bookstore Gay’s The Word and others purchased at a discount from a variety of publishers.

The luxury skincare brand will also be adding a complimentary audiobook in partnership with Faber and Xigxag - Jason Okundaye’s debut Revolutionary Acts: Love & Brotherhood in Black Gay Britain - to "expand the experience beyond the physical spaces and offer an accessible alternative to the printed word".

The Aesop Queer Library will be followed by a reading corner at the brand's store in Brighton from 2-5 August.
