Aestura expands UK presence with Boots launch
Korean dermocosmetic brand Aestura has expanded its UK distribution with a launch in Boots stores and online, a year after entering the market through Sephora.
The brand launched at Boots on 28 September, bringing its Atobarrier365 collection to the retailer alongside the UK debut of its Atobarrier365 Capsule Toner.
Boots is stocking Aestura’s complete Atobarrier365 range, which focuses on skin barrier care. The new Capsule Toner is formulated with ceramide capsules and is designed to hydrate and prepare the skin.
The move gives Aestura a wider UK retail presence, extending its distribution from Sephora into one of the country’s largest beauty retailers.
Aestura made its UK debut at Sephora in September 2025 with its Atobarrier365 collection. The launch marked the brand’s first entry into the UK market.
The expansion comes as Boots continues to broaden its K-beauty offering. In June 2025, the retailer added four Korean beauty brands online and across more than 80 stores, alongside brands already stocked, including Anua and Beauty of Joseon.
Boots has also been expanding its wider beauty proposition this year, including through its launch on TikTok Shop on 28 September. The retailer initially launched on the platform with a selection of No7 products, with further brands and products expected to follow.
Aestura is owned by Amorepacific, which also owns Korean beauty brands including Laneige. The brand positions itself around dermatological research and products for sensitive skin, with its Atobarrier365 range centred on barrier care.
The collection includes cleansers, moisturisers, serums and mists, while the new Capsule Toner marks the first time the product has launched in the UK.
The Boots launch comes as K-beauty continues to expand across the UK, with retailers broadening their ranges beyond established Korean names and bringing more specialist skincare brands to British consumers.
Last month, Pureseoul launched an exclusive K-Beauty Mini Mart at Primark, bringing together diffusion lines from established Korean beauty companies with the high-street retailer’s value-led positioning.
The entire edit is exclusive to Primark and will not be sold through Pureseoul’s own stores, extending the specialist retailer’s reach beyond its existing physical and digital channels.
Meanwhile, fellow K-beauty retailer Skin Cupid has also strengthened access to Korean beauty across the UK. It recently partnered with John Lewis, bringing roughly 20 brands to its online offering, alongside shop-in-shop locations in Cambridge, Kingston and Leeds.
