Alpha-H re-enters bodycare with new exfoliating treatment
Australian skincare brand Alpha-H has re-entered the bodycare category for the first time in over a decade, harnessing its expertise in performance-driven, clinically proven skincare for the launch.
The category debuts with a Retinol Reboot Exfoliating Body Treatment (£31.99), promising "smoother, firmer and brighter skin ".

Formulated to address concerns like signs of ageing, sun damage, loss of elasticity, redness, and uneven texture, the new treatment contains ingredients such as retinol, glycolic acid and lactic acid, as well as an antioxidant-rich coenzyme Q10 and nourishing oils.
It can be applied up to three nights a week to body areas like the neck, décolletage, shoulders, backs of arms or lower body.
Following this, Alpha-H will then introduce a Daily Dose Multivitamin Body Serum to the line-up on 1 October.
Boasting ingredients such as niacinamide, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, the new serum aims to nourish and protect the skin, while leaving it brighter, more hydrated and radiant.
The formula also works to restore the skin barrier function, reducing trans-epidermal water loss. Meanwhile, additional ingredients vitamin E and polyglutamic acid promise to reduce inflammation, protect and bind moisture to the skin.
Tina Randello, Chief Commercial Officer at Alpha-H, told TheIndustry.beauty: "Alpha-H Skincare, for the body, officially launches in August, but the concept is not new to us. In fact, the brand launched several bodycare products over a decade ago when the need for active skincare ingredients and efficacy for the whole body was identified; but we were a little ahead of our time!
"Through this experience we have learned much about what our customers want in their bodycare routines, and bodycare remains one of the most requested types of products we receive.
"Our customers use Alpha-H because they get results, and they want the same performance in their bodycare. They are looking after the skin on their face and want the skin on their body to benefit from the same age defying ingredients- think retinol, glycolic acid, niacinamide and vitamin C, to name a few.
"Their bodycare routine also needs to fit into their life, they don’t have time to stand around while products absorb and don’t want to feel sticky getting dressed, so we have been very intentional about the ingredients, benefits and overall product design.
"Our new bodycare products are not nice smelling moisturisers for the body, in fact they have been formulated to not interfere with your signature scent. They are packed with active ingredients, proven to smooth, even and brighten skin tone. Think multi-tasking, results-focused products for the ultimate bodycare routine."
Alpha-H was founded in 1995 after the brand's late founder, Michelle Doherty, was driven to create a business inspired by her own experiences with chronic acne in her late teens and 20s.
Since then, the skincare brand has developed a portfolio of transparent formulas anchored in clinical expertise. In the UK, it is available Cult Beauty, Lookfantastic, Marks & Spencer, Space NK, and more.
