ALPHA-H secures Leaping Bunny approval for cruelty-free skincare
Clean, Australian skincare brand Alpha-H has joined the growing ranks of beauty companies certified as cruelty-free, after gaining Leaping Bunny approval by Cruelty Free International.
Alpha-H, which produces a broad range of corrective products for sensitive and blemish-prone skin, will now incorporate the internationally recognised Leaping Bunny stamp across its packaging.
Obtaining the approval required the brand to implement a new supplier monitoring system for its supply chain, as well as a new regime of regular checks for animal testing throughout the supply network.
It must also accept ongoing independent audits to ensure compliance.
Alpha-H Global Brand Manager Stephanie Forge said: “We are committed to creating skincare with a conscience.
“This touches everything from our sustainability efforts to our formulating principals and importantly, includes respecting the natural environment and the animals within it.
“We are incredibly proud to be a part of the Leaping Bunny programme operated by Cruelty Free International who are driving change in this space at a global scale.”
Launched in the late 90s, Alpha-H specialises in the use of Glycolic Acid and other Accelerating Acids and is available online and via Cult Beauty, LookFantastic and M&S among others.
