Amouage strengthens UK footprint with new boutique at Harrods
Omani high perfumery house Amouage has unveiled its latest boutique, The Tent, within Harrods’ Salon De Parfums in London.
The boutique’s design draws inspiration from the Bedouin tent, incorporating elements of Omani hospitality to create an immersive environment.
At the entrance, metallic curtains mimic the appearance of flowing fabric, inviting visitors into a space defined by curved walls, leather seating, and ambient lighting that promises a tranquil atmosphere.

The interior balances reflective aluminium fittings with mahogany marquetry, merging contemporary aesthetics with a sense of timelessness.
A central feature of the boutique is a sculptural ceiling installation and consultation table, which integrates Radio Frequency ID technology, allowing visitors to select objects representing fragrance families, notes, and intensity levels.

The boutique features the brand's full range, from Eaux de Parfum to Attars, Extraits, and Essences, as well as Harrods-exclusive compositions available in bespoke flacons.
It also serves as the exclusive showcase for Amouage’s Royal Drops collection, described as a series of limited-edition perfumes aged for six months in oakwood barrels infused with alcohol.

Sayyid Khalid bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Chairman of Amouage, said: "Opening a petite boutique at Harrods’ Salon De Parfums is a truly momentous occasion for us. It is an opportunity to share all of the values we hold most dear with an incredibly discerning clientele. It allows us to celebrate our passion for tireless, unflinching craftsmanship. And it is also the ideal setting from which to present the unique pieces that make up the Royal Drops."
The launch attempts to reinforce the brand’s position within the high-end fragrance market while providing a distinctive London destination for exploration of its perfumes.
Renaud Salmon, Chief Creative Officer at Amouage, said: "For our Harrods petite boutique, we wanted our clients to feel that they were genuinely entering into our world.
"We wanted them to experience not just the beauty of our creations, but also the beauty of the hospitality for which Oman is so deservedly celebrated. So we decided that the most touching and most memorable way to achieve this would be by creating the petite boutique as a Bedouin tent – a place where guests can find refuge."
Founded in 1983, Amouage has established a global reputation for refined, artistic perfumery, blending Eastern heritage with contemporary luxury.
