Arket appoints Pernilla Wohlfahrt as Managing Director

Arket has appointed Pernilla Wohlfahrt as its new Managing Director, drafting her in from H&M to lead the businesses further development, with Wohlfahrt leaving her role of director of design and collaborations at H&M.

Arket launched from the H&M Group in 2017, and has subsequently had a new Managing Director each year, after Lea Rytz Goldmann moved to the group’s Cos brand, having previously been at Monki.

The brand has expanded steadily since launching, with a total 20 stores, six of them in the UK, with three in London. Arket focuses on a selected range of own-brand essentials for men, women and children, as well as some items from other brands.

Its 14 other stores are in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Sweden and Luxembourg.
