Aspinal calls in Houlihan Lokey to assess its options

Aspinal of London has appointed investment bank Houlihan Lokey to assess its options after a spell of weak financial performance.
Founder and chairman Iain Burton is seeking an investment of about £20m for his luxury leather goods brand. In the year to March 2018, Aspinal reported sales of £31.4m, but the costs of a new IT system contributed to a loss of £2.2m and a breach of debt covenants.
