Augustinus Bader has expanded its suncare range with the launch of its first body SPF, debuting exclusively at Space NK.

The Solar Shield SPF 50 offers broad-spectrum SPF 50 in a "lightweight, fast-absorbing texture", designed for both everyday wear and prolonged outdoor exposure.

It is also positioned as supporting improvements in overall skin tone and texture.

The formula features the brand's proprietary TFC8 (Trigger Factor Complex) technology.

TFC8 is designed to support cellular renewal by optimising the skin’s environment and facilitating communication between cells.

According to the brand, clinical and consumer studies on TFC8-based products have shown visible improvements in concerns such as fine lines, uneven tone and redness, as well as a reduction in the appearance of damage linked to environmental stressors.

Additional ingredients include wild rosella extract, which is included to help support the skin barrier, and a “radiance complex” aimed at promoting a more even-looking complexion over time.

Osmanthus flower extract is incorporated for its soothing properties and potential to help defend against UV-related stress, while raspberry seed oil provides conditioning and photoprotective benefits.

Bisabolol is also included to help calm redness and support the skin’s moisture barrier.

With this launch, Augustinus Bader continues to position its suncare offering at the intersection of skincare and sun protection, aligning with broader industry trends toward multifunctional, treatment-oriented SPF products.
