Autumn Fair welcomes thousands of retailers on 'upbeat' first day
Autumn Fair's seasonal showcase opened its doors on Sunday 1 September, welcoming thousands of buyers looking to discover the latest products and hidden gems for their stores.
Taking place at the NEC in Birmingham, the event is open until 4 September with more than 800 brands presenting their latest collections for retailers amid the peak buying period.
As part of this, the beauty and wellbeing area showcases a diverse range of products from home fragrances and luxurious soaps to beauty essentials, haircare and grooming items.
A variety of retailers, department stores, garden centres, activity centres and independent retailers attended yesterday, 1 September, including Tesco, Poundland, Blue Diamond, Baldwins Department Stores, Madison and Mayfair, and more.

With 38% of the show featuring new exhibitors and 30% exclusive, Autumn Fair attempts to offer visitors access to thousands of innovative products that cannot be found elsewhere.
It also allows retailers to "strategically refresh their product lines mid-year, top-up on bestsellers, and ensure they stay ahead of emerging trends and shifting consumer demands".
Additionally, visitors can access the Buyers Lounge, book in for expert advice at the Ambience Clinic, get visual merchandising inspiration at Merchandising Masterclasses, and join guided buyer tours of the Home & Gift destinations.
There is also refreshed product trails, a 'Gift Of The Year' showcase, and a new business pavilion for guests to explore.
Soraya Gadelrab, Event Director of Autumn Fair, said: "We’re buzzing with excitement as we welcome over 12,000 buyers this week to explore the most diverse and inspirational display of new products from over 800 incredible suppliers.
"Autumn Fair is the perfect time to discover and stock up for the peak retail season and the first day has been very busy with a lot of positive feedback."
