Babor partners with Revieve to enhance customer loyalty

German skincare brand Babor has become the first beauty brand to use Revieve's new Skin Coach solution.

Founded by chemist Dr Michael Babor in 1956, Babor stands for “expert skincare, made in Germany". The brand's formulations blend natural ingredients with science to deliver visible results. In the UK, Babor is available on Lookfantastic and its own website.

The Skin Coach solution offers a post-purchase experience that aims to enhance customer loyalty by supporting consumers in setting skin goals, tracking changes in skin over time, and offering relevant content for specific needs.

After receiving a recommended skincare routine and purchasing products through Babor and Revieve's existing Digital Skin Advisor, customers can create a profile to access the service.

As part of this, users can set goals and take selfies to log their progress. By tracking the changes in skin over time, the service can also recommend products and help to support customers in reaching their "optimal skin state".

The new service follows the introduction of Revieve's AI Skincare Advisor to Babor. This is an AI-powered self-diagnostic solution that analyses the user’s skin and provides tailored recommendations to suit their skin needs.

Sampo Parkkinen, CEO at Revieve, said: "We are delighted to see Babor strengthen its position as customers' first choice in the field of expert skincare by becoming the first brand in Europe that enables Revieve's Skin Coach to drive sustainable customer retention and build a more long-lasting relationship with their customers."
