Bath & Body Works expands UK presence with standalone Merry Hill store

Bath & Body Works is continuing its UK expansion with plans to open a 1,270 sq ft standalone store at Merry Hill shopping centre in the West Midlands.

The opening will mark Bath & Body Works’ first standalone store at Merry Hill, adding to its existing presence at the centre through its concession within NEXT.

It will offer the brand’s range of fragrance-led body care, home fragrances, gifting products and seasonal collections.

A representative from Bath & Body Works, said: “Following the success of our concession within NEXT, there was no question that opening a standalone Bath & Body Works store is a natural next step for the brand.

"We look forward to bringing an even broader range of our distinctive products to the centre, and know our fragrance-led body care, indulgent home scents, and seasonal collections will be well received by Merry Hill’s engaged visitor base.”

The US brand will be located opposite The Body Shop and Holland & Barrett, adding to Merry Hill’s existing health and beauty offering, which also includes Rituals, Boots and Lush.

The announcement also comes ahead of the full reopening of Superdrug at Merry Hill, following an extensive refurbishment and expansion that has almost doubled its retail footprint and introduced additional services.
