British washing and bathing brand Baylis & Harding has partnered with TerraCycle to launch its first refillable handwash products.

The sweet mandarin and grapefruit, and jasmine and apple blossom fragrances – with added anti-bacterial protection - come in a two litre bottle and a one litre pouch.

The conscious vegan friendly new range sits within Baylis & Harding’s best-selling ‘Signature’ collection, starting at £3.25 retail for the one litre pouch and going up to £6.50 for the two litre bottle.

The two litre refillable bottles save at least 62% of plastic used in the production process and will replenish the usual 500ml handwash four times. The HDPE bottles are also 100% fully recyclable.

The new refill pouches are fully recyclable through TerraCycle and use 80% less plastic. They also feature an easy-to-pour spout, meaning less handwash is wasted through spillage, and will replenish the usual 500ml hand washes two times.

Katie Blythe, Head of Marketing at Baylis & Harding, said: “Here at Baylis & Harding, we’re constantly evolving and listening to the needs of our loyal customers. It’s a step-by-step journey but, together, we are nurturing our luxury brands to be more sustainable, with the future generation in mind.

“Shopping sustainably does not mean you need to compromise on quality. Our new range of refillable handwashes not only contribute to protecting the planet, but also provide great value for our customers. Available in our timeless ‘Signature’ scents, including our best-selling sweet mandarin and grapefruit, these innovative solutions to eco-friendly bulk buying mean even the most conscious consumers won’t miss out when it comes to luxury hand care.”

The Baylis & Harding two litre refill bottles are available in-store and online at Amazon, Ocado, Asda, Morrisons and Boots, while the new one litre pouches are available at Tesco and Amazon once again.
