Beauty Kitchen is among the personal care brands named in B Lab's Best For The World 2022 list, joining 164 other UK businesses.

Every year, B Lab recognises the top-performing B Corps scoring in the top 5% in one or more of the five impact areas on the B Impact Assessment. Areas of performance can include community, customers, environment, governance and workers.

For community, B Corps are recognised for their efforts including charitable giving, investment in diversity and educational opportunities.

Beauty Kitchen has made the community list for the second year in a row, as well as being the highest scoring B Corp in the European beauty industry. The brand's initiatives for community include its ‘Beauty that Gives Back’ scheme, where 2% from every sale goes to its sustainable charity partners.

In a statement on LinkedIn, Beauty Kitchen said: "As with any B Corp, we meet high standards of social and environmental performance and public transparency whilst balancing purpose & profit - but this acknowledgement means that we are among the top 5% of high scoring B Corps on the globe."

Eco-friendly period care brand &SISTERS was also recognised in the community category. The brand's mission is to bridge the gender health gap and improve menstrual health worldwide with a user-centric menstrual health ecosystem.

The Best For The World companies in the environment category include businesses with planet-friendly practices and environmental initiatives including energy usage, materials, facilities and supply chain.

Mama Bamboo was also listed for environment, with the brand's eco-conscious and ethical business offering healthy and sustainable bamboo products for babies and toddlers. The brand was also recognised in the 2021 Best For The World list.

For the governance category, sustainable luxury fragrance brand Cranbourn and London-based makeup brand HIGHR Collective were featured, a first-time achievement for the two brands.
