Beyoncé shakes the internet after revealing her newest fragrance
In true Beyoncé fashion, the global superstar took to Instagram to preview her new fragrance release, named Cé Noir.
Embodying the gilded glamour of Beyoncé’s recently concluded Renaissance World Tour, the fragrance bottle is a mirrored, chromatic artwork that’s bound to elevate bathroom shelves and vanities alike.
According to the Grammy Award-winning singer’s website, Cé Noir has been her choice of fragrance while performing on stages across the globe. She can even be seen in a photo spritzing a prototype of the highly anticipated scent.
This is her first fragrance release in nearly a decade. Beyoncé fans may remember her first-ever fragrance launch of Heat, in 2010. After flying off the shelves, it was followed by a second iteration, Heat Rush.
Posting a video to social media, Beyoncé is heard saying: "It's finally here after years of work. I wanted something to be monolithic, and I wanted something to have a little bit of intimacy," she says while spritzing on the scent. "I actually sprayed this during the show a few times—gotta keep it fresh."
The new scent contains a blend of clementine, golden honey, rose absolute and golden amber notes. It’s first launching in the US, retailing at $160, and is later rolling out to the UK.
This is not the only beauty launch teased by Beyoncé this year. In May, the star announced the future release of a haircare line.
