Bite Beauty shuts down after 10 years
Bite Beauty, known for its vegan and cruelty-free range of beauty products has confirmed via Instagram that it will be closing its business in 2022.
The brand said that it was "sad to share" that the brand would shut down this year. It added: "Thank you for the past 10 years of love, growth, and fun. You have always been our ultimate inspiration.”
The brand added that its current range of items, which includes foundations, lipsticks as well as a mascara and eyeliner will go into clearance.
Its sister brand, Lip Lab, will remain open. Lip Lab offers customers the opportunity to create their own customisable lipsticks both in-store and online. The brand currently has nine locations across the US, Canada and Paris, and announced recently that it would soon open another location.
In 2019 the brand had discontinued its entire range only to relaunch in 2020 with a fully vegan re-brand that is said to not have been accepted well by customers. One user on Instagram commented on Bite Beauty's post: "Should have done some products vegan and kept the star products like amuse Bouche and the lip mask around. Sad to see you go."
