Body Proud launches body positivity campaign on TikTok

Body Proud has launched a new campaign to champion body positivity on TikTok, hitting back at the summer body ready trend with a more empowering message.

With the rise of the TikTok trend and viral hashtag #summerbodyready with over 12 million views, the brand wants to encourage positivity and self-love across its community.

The campaign, led by TikTok creator Alethea Francis Crimmin, will invite consumers to share its #noBODYlikeyou messaging to help "shatter toxic body images this summer".

Nora Zukauskaite, Global Marketing Director at Body Proud, said: "With summer in full swing, there are added pressures that are being showcased across social media platforms to portray perfect and often unrealistic body images.

"We are proud to be raising awareness and championing positivity to support our community, by celebrating #noBODYlikeyou to create a positive conversation.”

Body Proud has also partnered with student-led, non-profit organisation Body Positive Alliance to advocate for the acceptance, representation, and equality of all bodies regardless of physical ability, size, gender, race, or appearance.

The #noBODYlikeyou campaign marks the latest purpose-driven campaign launched by the I Am Proud family.

It follows Skin Proud’s Pay it Forward campaign for mental health awareness, as well as Hair Proud’s A Cut Above campaign in partnership with StandUp For Kids.
