Boots awarded Royal Warrant by Her Majesty The Queen

Boots has been granted a Royal Warrant by Her Majesty The Queen in recognition of its role as manufacturers and retailers of health and beauty products to the Royal Household.

A Royal Warrant is an official mark of recognition awarded to companies that have supplied the Royal Household regularly for at least five years.

Anthony Hemmerdinger, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Boots, said: “We are incredibly proud to have been granted a Royal Warrant by Her Majesty The Queen.

"As a British brand that has been part of communities across the UK for generations, holding a Royal Warrant will always be very special for Boots.

"It reflects the trust people place in us every day and our long-standing commitment to providing great products and services for all.”

Boots has a longstanding history with Royal Warrant recognition, first receiving one from Queen Elizabeth II on 15 July 1955 for supplying soap. This was later expanded in 1958 to include Agricultural and Horticultural Goods.

In addition to this recognition, Boots has worked with Her Majesty The Queen since 2017 to support people who have experienced sexual harm.

In partnership with the charity In Kind Direct, the company has provided nearly 80,000 wash bags containing toiletries for survivors to use after forensic examinations, intended as a small gesture of comfort during a difficult time.

The news follows the recent recognition of several beauty industry figures in the King’s Birthday Honours 2026.

Charlotte Tilbury has been awarded a CBE for services to the beauty and cosmetics industry, while Beauty Banks co-founders Sali Hughes and Jo Jones were awarded MBEs for their work tackling hygiene poverty.
