Boots expands own-brand skincare line with new ceramides range
Boots has launched a new range of ceramide-powered skincare, strengthening the retailer's own-brand offering.
The new seven-piece collection harnesses the power of a triple ceramide complex, promising to "support, restore and balance" the skin’s natural barrier for a healthy, radiant complexion.
Priced from £6-8, the product line-up combines ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids to replenish and fortify the skin barrier, as well as squalene, probiotics and peptides to leave the skin feeling moisturised, protected, and radiant.
Joe Thorley-Mitchell, Director of Boots Brand, said: "The Boots DermaCare brand was born in healthcare, created by pharmacists to support with symptoms of skin conditions. We’re proud to build on this heritage with a carefully curated collection of products that harness the restorative power of ceramides.
"We know our customers are looking for effective, yet affordable solutions for healthy, hydrated skin, and we’re passionate about making the latest skincare innovations accessible to everyone.
"The new range provides skin barrier support for all skin types at the affordable price point customers expect from Boots."

Glossy Lip Balms (£3) available in three flavours: Mint, Coconut and Cherry.
It joins the retailer's line-up of over 115 own-brand beauty products across cosmetics, haircare and skincare and follows the launch of its new Glossy Lip Balms, with one of three flavours selling every 30 seconds since launching two weeks ago.
The news comes as Boots continues to bolster its beauty offer, having recently added a number of trending brands to its line-up, with plans for additional brands to launch over the summer.
