Boots has expanded its value range and introduced further promotional initiatives to help shoppers during the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

The health and beauty retailer added 60 new lines to its ‘Boots Everyday' value range, aiming to help customers find the lowest priced essential products. The initiative has seen a 35% rise in sales since its launch in September 2022.

Priced between 50p and £2.50, new to the range items include a selection of own-brand vitamins at 99p, skincare products at £1.50, and organic cotton wool pads, balls and tips from 60p.

The retailer's Price Lock Promise has been updated in partnership with charity partner The Hygiene Bank, ensuring it "includes products that are truly essential for customers". The price of the 400 lines included in Price Lock will be frozen until at least April 2023.

Boots has also launched a ‘save up to half price on the brands you love’ promotion. Using customer research data, the retailer has identified the most popular brands and is offering deals of up to 50% off on those lines, including Soap & Glory, Dove and Maybelline.

Additionally, Boots Advantage Card holders can continue to get exclusive savings through Price Advantage.

Steve Ager, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer at Boots UK, said: “It is more important than ever for us to offer winter savings to help our customers through the cost-of-living crisis. In addition to extending our Boots Everyday essentials label, we are renewing our Price Lock Promise and continuing to offer big savings through Price Advantage.”
