Boots UK has unveiled its revamped beauty hall at Westfield London, strengthening its offer and customer experience to compete with the newly-opened Sephora store.

Described as a "new hotspot for beauty lovers", the store is the latest to be renovated as part of the health and beauty retailer’s "on-going beauty reinvention journey". There are now 170 refreshed Boots beauty halls across the UK.

The new space features trending zones, discovery areas and consultation spaces. It is also the first Boots store to stock brands including Grown Alchemist, Sol De Janeiro and Function of Beauty. In addition, a new team of 'Beauty Specialists' have been recruited to offer personalised, brand-neutral beauty and skincare advice to customers for free.

Paul Niezawitowski, Beauty Director at Boots said: “Our ambition is to make incredible beauty products more accessible for everyone. We're continuing to transform beauty on the high street by introducing our reinvented beauty halls. We’re proud to bring the flagship beauty experience to more customers in towns and cities across the country.”

The move comes as Westfield London expands its beauty retail offering, prompting new and existing businesses at the shopping centre to raise their game.

Earlier this week, Sephora opened its new store at Westfield London, marking the retailer's bricks and mortar return to the UK market. The 6,000+ sq ft space showcases "an exceptional assortment of products and personal services" and "next generation retail design features" for UK consumers to discover.

In January 2023, Space NK opened a newly upsized store at Westfield London. Spanning 2,500 sq ft, it is the retailer's largest store to date and focuses on "customer needs". As well as stocking the "most extensive assortment of the world’s best beauty brands", each product category was considered to make it easier to shop.
