Boots has confirmed that its new beauty concept store at Bristol's Cabot Circus will open on Thursday 28 May, marking the retailer’s second beauty-only concept and its first outside London.

The 11,000 sq ft store in central Bristol follows the launch of the company's first standalone beauty concept at Battersea Power Station in 2023.

The new location will feature more than 200 beauty brands across skincare, haircare, fragrance, cosmetics, premium beauty, wellness and electrical beauty categories.

Brands available in-store will include Kylie Cosmetics, One/Size, Wonderskin and SheGlam, alongside new additions not previously stocked by Boots, including several UK high street exclusives.

A dedicated fragrance area will showcase niche and independent brands, while a curated range of premium beauty minis and a rotating “Trending on Social” section will highlight products gaining popularity online.

The store will also expand its South Korean beauty offering in response to growing consumer demand, with brands including Beauty of Joseon and Dr Reju-All.

Meanwhile, a new Wellness Zone will bring together beauty supplements and wellness products, including collagen and ingestible beauty ranges from Boots Brands, Habi and Modern Chemistry.

The Bristol store will also be the first to feature a shop-in-shop concept from TikTok viral brand P.Louise, introducing a Lip Oil Creation Station for customers to create personalised products in-store.

The launch coincides with P.Louise’s roll-out into Boots stores nationwide next week, marking the brand’s first move onto the UK high street.

To mark the opening, Boots will host an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10am on 28 May, alongside in-store experiences and customer giveaways throughout the day.

Visitors on launch day will also have access to exclusive discounts and can take part in the 'Boots Beauty Fruit Machine' promotion with purchases over £20, offering prizes including goody bags and product minis.

Previously commenting on the opening, Category Director Paul Niezawitowski said: "Boots is the unrivalled home of beauty in the UK, and this new store gives us the perfect stage to showcase the best of Boots in one of the country’s most vibrant and creative cities.

"We hear a lot from customers that they want immersive shopping experiences, expert guidance and inspiration, and with price points from 50p to £500, our next beauty-only concept store certainly delivers on that and more.

"We’re delighted to bring to life this next exciting step in our beauty transformation."

The opening forms part of Boots’ wider beauty transformation strategy, which includes launches such as the Boots Beauty store at Battersea Power Station, the Boots Fragrance Boutique format and new wellness-focused concepts.
