Boots unveils new Wellness Zones amid soaring demand

Boots has introduced in-store Wellness Zones and a dedicated team of Health & Wellness Specialists in response to soaring demand in the category.

The new zones highlight products and brands across gut health, nutrition, hydration, sleep, movement, and the increasingly popular "beauty-from-within" trend - an inside-out approach to beauty also championed by retailers such as Holland & Barrett.

Six stores currently feature the new zones, which include a pick-and-mix selection of samples from brands like Humantra, Zooki, and DIRTEA.

In addition, over 500 Health & Wellness Specialists are now available across 140 stores, providing personalised guidance and tailored product recommendations.

It comes as research commissioned by Boots reveals that 40% of consumers now consider wellness an essential part of their daily beauty routine, while 62% believe that gut health, hormonal balance, and stress management play a key role in overall skin and hair health.

Customers can also access support through the Boots Wellness Hub online, with resources covering topics such as gut health, movement, sleep, beauty, energy, hormones and focus.

Our unique training provides education on trends, ingredients and routines so we can help to guide customers on the right products and routines for them.

"Our new Wellness Zones offer customers the opportunity to access expert and personalised advice from their local high-street, aligning with increased demand from customers, particularly those who are cross-category shopping from health and beauty."

The launch comes as Boots continues to expand its wellness offering, adding 12 new brands and 140 new products, building on over 750 wellness lines introduced in the past year.

Among the latest launches is Wellthy by Boots, an exclusive new own-brand wellness range available both in-store and online. The range includes four electrolytes, each designed to support radiant skin, energy and focus, rest, and immune health.
