Boots is strengthening its beauty tech credentials with the nationwide rollout of Lustre ClearSkin, now available in 127 UK stores and online. The move marks the LED skincare brand’s first major retail partnership, taking it from a digital-first business into brick-and-mortar retail.

For Boots, the tie-up underscores its strategy of curating innovation that bridges clinical credibility with everyday accessibility, a category that has become one of the fastest-growing in beauty.

Founded in 2004 as Ambicare Health, the company originally developed LED-based therapies for non-melanoma skin cancer in hospitals before pivoting post-pandemic to launch Lustre as a consumer-facing brand. Its devices are designed to deliver professional-level treatments at home.

Yasmine Marden, Brand and Commercial Manager at Lustre ClearSkin, said: "We are delighted to be partnering with Boots to launch our products with a UK retailer for the first time. Consumers are growing in their awareness of the many skin benefits of LED and are looking to bring trusted tech into their homes to elevate their beauty routines, a mission we’re equally passionate about.

"By partnering with a trusted retailer like Boots; renowned for their heritage in beauty and retail expertise – both online and in-store – we’re able to make that experience more accessible than ever before. Our two best-selling masks will be the first to arrive in 127 stores and online, but we’re continuing to innovate and bring solutions to our customers, with new products that will soon launch exclusively with Boots as our retail partner of choice in the UK."

The launch line-up includes two flagship devices: the ClearSkin Revive LED Mask (£250), a flexible silicone mask with red and blue light modes targeting breakouts, blemishes and uneven texture, and the Renew Pro Facewear (£450), the only app-powered LED mask available at Boots, which combines red, blue and near-infrared LEDs for customisable, clinic-inspired treatments.
