Bouclème expands into bodycare with two new launches

Curly haircare brand Bouclème has launched into the bodycare category with two new products; an Invigorating Body Wash and Nourishing Body Cream.

Founded by Michele Scott-Lynch in 2014, Bouclème specialises in plant-powered haircare designed for the curly hair community. Working to nourish fragile hair, the brand's products are made without drying sulphates, heavy silicones and mineral oils.

For its latest launch, the brand has developed its love of naturally-derived ingredients into a brand-new body collection. As part of this, the Invigorating Body Wash is formulated with sodium hyaluronate to moisturise skin, as well as coconut water which is filled with amino acids, enzymes, and antioxidants. It is fragranced with rose geranium, pink grapefruit and peppermint essential oils.

The Nourishing Body Cream seals hydration into the skin. Enriched with shea and cocoa butter, squalane and avocado oil, the product works to keep skin "smooth, supple and protect against moisture loss".

Michele Scott-Lynch, Founder of Bouclème, said: “I wanted to develop the Bouclème range to focus on head-to-toe beauty.

"I have used essential oils ever since I started the curlcare range in 2014. It was a natural development to look at a body collection that not only envelops you in beautiful natural scents but also delivers the best in moisturisation.

"Bouclème customers really want to have that ‘at home’ spa experience that they have experienced with the curlcare range and these two new products will bring that pampering moment to their day.”
