British Beauty Week to return in September with packed schedule of live events

British Beauty Week is set to return this autumn with a series of immersive live events for consumers and industry professionals, designed to celebrate beauty in all its forms and explore future trends.

Set to take place between 8 and 12 September in London’s Covent Garden, the 2021 ‘Beauty Reimagined’ event will offer an array of “unique opportunities” for beauty brands to reach new consumers and define the trends set to re-shape the beauty landscape.

The Beauty Reimagined theme will be incorporated throughout every aspect of the live event, encouraging consumers to discover and explore the category and its future direction.

Co-hosted by the British Beauty Council and media company Hearst UK, the event will also include a raft of beauty industry facing panel talks, workshops and demonstrations with key industry figures.

Commenting on the event's return, British Beauty Council chief executive Millie Kendall said: “In these unprecedented times, it has never been more important to celebrate the importance and resilience of the beauty industry.”

The event comes at a time of strong consumer desire to celebrate beauty, with 64% of consumers saying that they have missed shopping in-store for beauty products and 85% saying that applying makeup boosts their mood. (Source: Hearst UK)
