Byoma launches new Blemish range to meet rising demand for skin barrier–safe solutions
Viral skincare brand Byoma is tapping into growing demand for acne solutions with one of its biggest category launches to date: a new blemish care range.
Most acne products rely solely on active ingredients like benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, which can dry out and irritate skin, disrupt the barrier, and often trigger more breakouts - creating a cycle of damage and frustration.
Staying true to its ethos that "better skin starts with a boosted barrier", Byoma is taking a different approach with its latest launch: a new collection designed to support the skin barrier while targeting breakouts at every stage.

The Blemish range is formulated with a patent-pending Clearamide Complex and salicylic acid to help clear blemishes without compromising skin health. It also promises to prevent moisture loss, which the brand says is "crucial for maintaining resilience against breakout triggers".
Launching with six products, the line-up features a Blemish Clearing Cleanser, Blemish Clearing Paste, Blemish Control Moisturiser, and Redness Relief Soothing Toner Mist.
Expanding beyond facial care, Byoma has also introduced two body-focused solutions as part of the range: a Blemish Clearing Body Wash and Blemish Clearing Body Lotion.
It comes at a time when acne remains a widespread concern - affecting up to 85% of people aged 12–24, with adult acne also on the rise. In fact, global rates have increased by 10% over the past decade, highlighting a growing population whose skincare needs are still underserved.
Marc Elrick, founder of Byoma, told TheIndustry.beauty: "For a long time people have accepted that breakout treatments will break their skin barriers. But they shouldn’t have to. This is coupled with the fact that public interest in skin barrier is at an all-time high.
"People are understanding that the key to healthy skin is a healthy skin barrier. And there weren’t acne care solutions that met these needs. So we thought, why can’t we combine effective blemish care with Byoma's skin barrier-first approach?
"The solution is our blemish care system - our first clinically-proven blemish-focused range that takes care of your skin barrier as it helps to target blemishes at every stage."
Launched in 2022, Byoma recognises the need to simplify skincare routines, taking skincare back to science while bringing skin barrier health into the mainstream.
It continues to capture consumer attention for its barrier-boosting formulations and unique packaging, with products often in demand and reaching viral status on social media.
The brand has spent over $2 million on clinical testing to date, with every product within Byoma's portfolio having completed at least two independently tested and verified clinical trials.
