Viral skincare brand Byoma has appointed Tara Loftis as its new Global President and Chief Brand Officer, marking a significant step in its expansion.

Loftis joins Byoma from Swiss skincare giant Galderma, where she served as Global President of Dermatological Skincare across brands including Cetaphil, Differin, Alastin and Benzac for two years.

She also brings brand experience from LVMH as Global Vice President, Brand Marketing & PR at brands such as Fenty Beauty and Marc Jacobs.

In her new role, Loftis will divide her time between LA, Paris, and Byoma's headquarters in Glasgow as the brand accelerates its international expansion.

She will also work with retail and distribution partners to scale Byoma into its next phase of development.

In a statement on LinkedIn, Loftis said: "What makes [Byoma] truly special is the rare mix of bold brand energy, real scientific and clinical credibility, and a community that genuinely loves the brand. That combination is what builds enduring brands.

"I’m thrilled to partner with Marc Elrick, the Byoma team, and Bansk Group to build the next chapter and help make Byoma a household name globally."

Launched in 2022, Byoma is a British skincare brand committed to simplifying skincare by prioritising skin barrier health through science-backed formulations.

The brand has quickly gained recognition - and achieved over $300 million in retail sales in 2025 - thanks to its accessible pricing, playful packaging, and strong social media presence.
