Byoma takes Barrier Protection Patrol pop-up to Manchester and Liverpool
Byoma is bringing its Barrier Protection Patrol pop-up experience to Manchester and Liverpool this month, following its launch at London’s Battersea Power Station on 1 August.
The mobile activation will visit Manchester Exchange Square on 8 August before moving to Paradise Street in Liverpool on 15 August, offering visitors complimentary skin barrier assessments and personalised skincare recommendations.

The branded van-style installation allows visitors to receive a skin barrier assessment using technology that measures transepidermal water loss (TEWL), a metric commonly used to evaluate skin barrier function. Following the assessment, participants will receive a Barrier Strength Score along with guidance on what their result indicates.
Based on their assessment, visitors will be recommended a five-step Byoma skincare routine tailored towards supporting and protecting the skin barrier during the summer months.
The activation will also offer Byoma product samples. According to the brand’s event promotion, the first 50 visitors assessed at each location will have the opportunity to receive merchandise and a complimentary full-size product, subject to availability.

In addition to the pop-up experience, the brand is running a gift-with-purchase promotion at selected Boots stores in Manchester and Liverpool. Customers who purchase two or more products in a single transaction can receive a Byoma luggage tag while stocks last.
The brand is also hosting a social media competition running until 15 August. Participants can enter by sharing a photo of the Barrier Protection Patrol team travelling between locations on Instagram or TikTok, tagging @byoma and following the brand’s account. Up to 50 full-size products are available as prizes, with winners expected to be contacted by 21 August.
