Cellular Goods has become the first cannabigerol (CBG)-based skincare brand to launch online at Sephora UK.

Founded in 2018 by Alexis Abraham, Cellular Goods aims to revolutionise the wellbeing industry with a pioneering approach to active skincare, using biosynthesised cannabinoids.

The move is part of the brand's "enhanced retail strategy" to drive growth by expanding its sales channels and increasing its collaboration with established online and high street outlets.

Its launch at Sephora will stock the brand's full range of skincare products, including its bestselling Rejuvenating Face Serum, CBG-based Nourishing Cannabinoid Face Oil and Calming Cannabinoid After Shaving Moisturiser, as well as selected 'mini' sizes and gifting products during seasonal moments.

Darcy Taylor, Chairman and Interim CEO of Cellular Goods, said: "I am delighted that our products will be going on sale at Sephora.

"The launch bridges the gap between customer awareness and sales by making it easier for customers to purchase our products. We’re confident that our effective next-generation skincare formulations will appeal to their existing customers and encourage them to try our CBG-powered products.

"The launch is part of our continued customer acquisition strategy, as we continue to increase awareness of our products and grow our sales channels."

The news comes after the online launch of Sephora UK last year, followed by its bricks-and-mortar return at Westfield London in March 2023.
