CEW announces 2022 Beauty Awards Winners

Tan Luxe, The Inkey List, Paula’s Choice and Charlotte Tilbury are amongst the winning beauty brands named in the 2022 CEW Beauty Awards.

CEW is an international professional organisation of over 10,500 individual members. Now in its 17th year and sponsored by Amazon Beauty and Sainsbury’s, the CEW Beauty Awards are the only awards voted for by professionals working within the sector.

Across 32 main categories and 12 new Consumer Choice categories, CEW has recognised a number of "cutting-edge" brands including Byoma, CeraVe and FaceGym, alongside "cult-favourites" such as ELEMIS, NARS and This Works.

Tan-Luxe was the "stand-out winner", taking home three separate awards for The Crème in Best New Sun Care or Self Tan, Best New Skintellectual Prestige and Best New Vegan Beauty Product. Along with a Consumer Choice Award for Best New Vegan Product.

The ‘Responsible Beauty Award’, sponsored by Givaudan, was given to Pai Skincare's Full Range for CEW Responsible Beauty Award for Excellence and UpCircle Beauty's The Fruit Stones Range for the CEW Responsible Beauty Award for Innovation.

  • Best British Brand: The Inkey List
  • Best Beauty Icon Mass: Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant
  • Best Beauty Icon Prestige: NARS Orgasm Blush
  • Best New Brand Mass: Byoma
  • Best New Brand Prestige: Nécessaire

New for 2022,  the CEW Consumer Choice Awards marked the first awards voted for by UK consumers. The winners include TempleSpa for Best British Brand, Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream for Beauty Icon and Absolute Collagen's Thickening Shampoo for Best New Hair Product.
