Charlotte Tilbury CEO recognised with New Year Honour
Charlotte Tilbury CEO Demetra Pinsent has been named in HM The King’s New Year Honours List, receiving an OBE for her services to business and the beauty industry.
Pinsent has served as Chief Executive Officer at Charlotte Tilbury Beauty for nearly 14 years, having joined the company in February 2012.
A graduate of both Harvard and the University of Oxford, she also previously worked as a Partner at global consulting firm McKinsey & Company.
The New Year Honours List 2025 recognises unsung heroes who have made outstanding contributions to their communities across the UK.
This year, 1,157 individuals have been recognised, with a particular focus on those who have gone "above and beyond for their communities".
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said: "This year’s Honours list celebrates the very best of Britain - people who put the common good ahead of themselves to strengthen communities and change lives.
"Their quiet dedication speaks to the decent, compassionate country we are proud to be. On behalf of the whole nation, thank you - and congratulations to everyone recognised today."
Elsewhere on the list, former beauty executive and Scamp & Dude founder Jo Tutchener-Sharp has also been awarded an OBE, in recognition of her services to fashion and charity.
The brand’s Super Scarves initiative - which donates one scarf to a woman undergoing cancer treatment for every scarf sold - has reached a major milestone, with 80,000 scarves donated and more than £4 million in cash and product contributions given to charitable causes.
