Clinique has released its first non-fungible token (NFT), becoming the first Estée Lauder Companies brand to do so.

Rather than selling its NFTs, the beauty brand is hosting a competition for its smart rewards members to win a limited-edition NFT. Along with a range of free Clinique products for the next ten years and one of three editions of an NFT artwork.

Inspired by the Clinique's Almost Lipstick Black Honey and Moisture Surge 100H moisturiser, a total of three NFTs will be available to win. The Clinique competition will close on 2 November 2021.

To enter, members must post a video or photo on Instagram, TikTok or Twitter, answering the questions “How do you bring hope and optimism to the people around you and who brings a smile to your face?”

Other beauty brands including Nars, Givenchy and  E.l.f. have also recently created their own NFTs.
