Coty adds ultra premium skincare brand Orveda to prestige portfolio

Coty Inc. has expanded its skincare portfolio with the addition of sustainable and ultra premium skincare brand Orveda.

Described by Orveda, its skincare aims to combine nature with biotechnology and dermatological benefits to help consumers achieve a healthy skin glow that rivals makeup.

Coty has already began to integrate Orveda and its microbiome science into the its portfolio, with Coty developing, manufacturing and distributing the full range of Orveda products globally.

As part of the agreement, Orveda's co-founder Nicolas Vu will continue to lead the company as its CEO. He will also partner with Coty on the brand’s development and advise Coty on its diversity, equity and inclusion agenda.

Founded in 2014, Orveda pioneered microbiome and prebiotics science in skincare, with all of its products being vegan, sustainably-minded and genderless too.

The Orveda range includes cleansers, serums, eye and lash care treatments, moisturisers and masks. The brand is available in selective premium stores and e-commerce platforms across 15 countries.
