Coty names Chief People Officer amid organisational reshuffle

Coty has appointed Séverine Charbon as its new Chief People & Purpose Officer, effective 1 September, following the resignation of Priya Srinivasan, who will leave the company at the end of August for personal reasons.

Charbon joins Coty from Publicis Groupe, where she most recently served as Chief Talent Officer International. She brings more than 25 years of experience in international leadership roles, with a strong focus on talent strategy and organisational transformation.

Srinivasan has led Coty's global people function for more than three years, overseeing leadership development and employee engagement. A Form 8-K filed with the SEC on 30 June confirmed that her resignation will take effect on 31 August 2026.

Markus Strobel, Coty's Executive Chairman and interim CEO, paid tribute to Srinivasan's contribution, saying: "Priya has been a thoughtful and trusted leader, and a real champion of our people and culture. She has strengthened how we develop talent, deepened employee engagement, and helped make Coty a place where people can do their best work."

The leadership change comes as Coty continues to reshape its organisation under its Coty.Curated strategy, which is designed to simplify the operating model, bring commercial decision-making closer to the centre and enable faster execution.

"Coty.Curated is about clarity and focus, and a simpler operating model helps us deliver on that. It positions us to keep building behind our core brands and to support our teams as the business moves forward," Strobel said.

As part of the changes, Strobel will take direct oversight of Prestige commercial operations, with the company's regional leaders reporting to him. The move follows the planned departure of Caroline Andreotti, who will leave at the end of September after almost two decades with the company.

Coty is also combining its Prestige R&D and sustainability teams with the supply chain into a single function, which will be led on an interim basis by Graeme Carter, Chief Supply Chain Officer. Dr Shimei Fan, Chief Scientific & Sustainability Officer, will leave the company at the end of August.

Gordon von Bretten, President of Consumer Beauty, will continue to lead the already integrated Consumer Beauty model.
