Two British beauty powerhouses, Trinny London and CurrentBody, are joining forces in a collaboration that points to the future of skincare: a union where high-performance formulas and advanced device technology don’t compete, but collaborate. TheIndustry.beauty has the exclusive scoop.

CurrentBody and Trinny London have united to combine high-performance skincare with advanced device technology, creating a limited-edition partnership designed to deliver visible results.

The collaboration brings together biochemistry and technology: Trinny London’s active peptides and complexes work to rebuild and restructure the skin’s surface, while CurrentBody’s clinically backed LED technology stimulates cell regeneration deeper within the dermis.

For a limited time only, the brands are launching two targeted systems: The Ultimate Elevator (a dual-action neck and décolleté system) priced at £385 and The Skin Rewind (a deep cell longevity system) priced at £489.

For Trinny Woodall, founder of Trinny London, the move into device-led skincare felt less like a pivot and more like a natural evolution of her brand’s results-first philosophy.

"I’ve always been focused on proof," she tells TheIndustry.beauty. "From the very second I started Trinny London, I knew I didn’t want products that just feel or smell lovely – I want to see a face that has been transformed."

Laurence Newman and Trinny Woodall

Woodall has been a long-time user of CurrentBody’s LED technology herself, featuring the brand in her off-the-cuff YouTube videos and Instagram reels. "I’ve used CurrentBody’s LED for years - I’m a total devotee - because I know that while our skincare is doing the hard work, those LED wavelengths are getting right down into the nitty-gritty, waking up that collagen at a cellular level.

"We’ve spent years perfecting our unique combination of ingredients at their optimal levels, and pairing that with device technology is like giving your skin a double espresso. It’s for the woman who, like me, wants her routine to work as hard as she does," she adds.

Rather than launching with facial skincare alone, the collaboration begins with one of the most technically challenging areas of the body: the neck and décolleté. Woodall explains, "The neck is notoriously difficult; it’s where we see that crepiness and sagging that can tell a different story to our face. I thought, if we can take the most challenging area – the place that really struggles with texture and sagging – and hit it with targeted ingredients plus the power of LED, we’re truly solving the problem. We’re giving that area the attention it’s been craving for years."

For CurrentBody founder Laurence Newman, the collaboration represents a milestone moment for the brand. "This is the first time we’ve done a partnership like this at CurrentBody Skin," he tells TheIndustry.beauty. "It’s not just a bundle of products, it’s a genuine fusion of technology and topical skincare."

Woodall’s ability to translate complex science for consumers played a role in the timing of the partnership. "It’s taken years for consumers to really understand LED," Newman says. "Now that awareness is there, this felt like the perfect moment to pair our technology with a partner who can explain how it works in such an accessible, trusted way."

From a business perspective, Newman identifies the neck and décolleté as a category with untapped potential and one that can’t be addressed by devices in isolation. That insight informed the collaboration’s formulation strategy, with Trinny London’s skincare designed to actively enhance LED performance rather than simply sit alongside it. "Ingredients like hyaluronic acid help keep the skin well hydrated, which is important when you’re using LED light therapy, and peptides complement the collagen-stimulating effects of the wavelengths we use," Newman says.

"When the device and the skincare are there to support each other, you get better results, better consistency from customers, and much stronger scientific credibility overall."

At a time when consumers are increasingly sceptical of surface-level claims, the CurrentBody and Trinny London collaboration points to a future where skincare routines are built around measurable outcomes, education and intentional pairing.

As Woodall puts it: "It’s not about adding more steps for the sake of it – it’s about making every second of your routine more sensational."
