DCYPHER brings AI-powered personalisation to Covent Garden pop-up
As beauty retail continues to shift away from traditional shade charts and mass production, brands built on personalisation and community are starting to reshape what the in-store experience looks like. DCYPHER Beauty is the latest to step into that space, launching a six-week pop-up in Covent Garden that brings its AI-powered complexion technology into a physical setting.
This month, the AI-powered complexion brand launches The Beauty Concierge, a six-week pop-up at 29 Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, designed to spotlight the UK and Ireland’s most exciting founder-led indie beauty brands, while bringing DCYPHER’s hyper-personalised technology to life in real time.

Running from 29 January to 5 March, the pop-up positions DCYPHER as a leader in beauty innovation, while actively championing a new wave of independent brands built through strong digital communities and direct consumer connection. Designed and curated by DCYPHER Beauty co-founder Ruth De Leo, The Beauty Concierge is conceived as a destination for discovery, connection and experimentation.
At the heart of the activation is DCYPHER’s proprietary technology. Visitors can experience the brand’s patented Skin Tone Analyser and Match system live in-store, from facial scanning through to formulation, walking away with a complimentary sample of their perfect match in under 60 seconds. It marks the first time consumers can witness DCYPHER’s made-to-order model in action - a system designed to eliminate restrictive shade ranges and reduce excess stock through on-demand production.
Founded by beauty brand expert Ruth De Leo alongside tech specialist Adam Triantis, DCYPHER was created to challenge long-standing frustrations within traditional beauty. Its AI-powered Skin Tone Analyser and made-to-order approach has already delivered more than 72,000 unique complexion matches, placing the brand firmly at the intersection of technology, inclusivity and sustainability.
"Born from my desire to create exciting, experimental moments for innovative indie brands, The Beauty Concierge is about creating space for the brands shaping beauty right now, at the cusp of massive acceleration," says De Leo. "DCYPHER has seen the success in-person activations can offer, and look to pay it forward at one electric location, The Beauty Concierge is an incubator in the heart of Covent Garden - powered by DCYPHER."
While DCYPHER’s custom-blended complexion products sit at the centre of the space, the pop-up also heroes a curated edit of fast-growing indie brands from across the UK and Ireland. The line-up includes No 98 Beauty, RUM, Klira, Reeson Beauty and Hildun Beauty, alongside wellness brand What’s That Patch and Fleur De Force’s jewellery label Raven James.
Across its six-week run, The Beauty Concierge will host ticketed events, masterclasses, founder meet-ups and collaborative panels, giving customers direct access to the people behind the brands and offering indie founders a powerful platform for growth.
Sali Hughes, co-founder of RUM, added: "We are so thrilled to be participating in the Beauty Concierge, powered by DCYPHER - a truly cohesive, experiential pop-up that brings together an exciting mix of both emerging and established brands.
"It offers a refreshing and intelligently curated environment where innovation, quality and discovery sit at the heart of the customer experience. This pop-up is a continuation of what has already been the most brilliant and rewarding partnership between DCYPHER and RUM – not to mention Beauty Banks, mine and Jo’s charity for whom DCYPHER continues to do so much.
"Since the beginning of last summer’s roadshow around the UK, we at RUM have loved engaging with the DCYPHER customer and sharing ideas with the team in the most mutually supportive, collaborative and energising way. We can’t wait to open up that partnership to even more friends, like-minded beauty brands and their inspiring communities, all in DCYPHER’s beautiful pop-up space. Trust us, it’s going to be a vibe. See you there!"
