Debenhams reminds customers how easy online shopping is with Christmas campaign
Debenhams, the online department store, has today unveiled its Christmas campaign ‘Duh, Debenhams', enticing Christmas shoppers to ditch frenzied in-store shopping and opt for browsing online.
The story reveals Debenhams.com as the antidote to festive shopping chaos, nudging shoppers to ditch the crowds and opt to shop from the comfort of their sofas. The advert is “a cure to the season's stresses” featuring a star-studded sparkle-clad cast, as they browse the Debenhams marketplace.
Actress and model Elizabeth Hurley, model and TV host Leomie Anderson, comedian Ellie Taylor and presenter Hannah Cooper-Dommett bring a heavy dose of sass and comedy to the campaign with their unsubtle winks and nods.
Not only does the playful campaign showcase the fashion offering at Debenhams, from Coast, Warehouse, Misspap and more, but it also features the latest beauty products including Estée Lauder, YSL and Clarins.
Dan Finley, CEO at Debenhams, said: " 'Duh, Debenhams' flips the script on festive shopping chaos and boldly establishes us as the ultimate answer for a stress-free Christmas shopping experience. Our iconic British cast delivers ‘Duh, Debenhams’ in a classic yet humorous style.
"As home to a community of c. 10k brands catering for every taste and generation, we’re reminding customers just how effortless shopping can be at Debenhams.com."
Elizabeth Hurley, added: "I’m absolutely delighted to be part of ‘Duh, Debenhams’ this Christmas, my favourite time of year! This campaign beautifully embodies the joy of the festive season, blending humour with style. There’s nothing quite like celebrating with loved ones at holiday parties, and Debenhams makes it easy to find the perfect outfits and gifts that elevate every gathering."
