Demalogica debuts Daily Microfoliant in new refillable format

Dermalogica’s best-selling Daily Microfoliant is now available in a new refillable format as part of the skincare brand’s latest sustainability stride.

The new Microfoliant Refill is made with 92% less plastic, 95.6% less oil and 95.7% fewer greenhouse gas emissions, compared to the Daily Microfoliant canister, sifter and cap.

With a lower rrp of £49 for 74g, the refill contains the same powder exfoliant formula as the original Daily Microfoliant and the contents can be easily transferred into the original canister. Daily Microfoliant 74g in full canister packaging has an rrp of £55.

Dermalogica has made a number of strides to improve sustainability in the past year and by the end of 2020, 90% of all Dermalogica packaging will be recyclable or biodegradable. All paper and cartons will also be FSC certified to be sustainable for forests.
