Dermalogica appoints new General Manager for UK and Ireland
Professional skincare brand Dermalogica has appointed Cirsten Hannken as General Manager for the UK and Ireland.
Hannken assumes the role after serving in the same position at Dermalogica Germany for the past seven years.
In the UK and Ireland, she will continue to contribute to the growth of the business and the long-term success of the Dermalogica brand.
"I’m delighted to be continuing my Dermalogica journey in the UK market and joining such a strong team," said Hannken.
"I’m particularly excited to embrace the UK’s professional industry after leading the first market globally to launch Dermalogica’s Pro Pen and expansion into advanced services, with more innovation and technology on the horizon, the best is yet to come."
Hannken replaces Mark Hermann, who exits the business after five years to "travel with his family and embrace fresh challenges".
During his tenure, Hermann led Dermalogica in the UK and Ireland, expanding its footprint and building relationships with valued partners in the professional industry and retail.
The appointment follows the promotion of Sinead Dowling to General Manager for Ireland earlier this year. Dowling will continue to lead the Irish market and will report to Hannken.
Last week, Dermalogica ventured into the hospitality space via a new partnership with The Belfy Hotel, which aims to elevate the skincare treatments on offer at the hotel and provide guests and members with "unparalleled results-driven services".
