Diptyque has announced a new collaboration centred on its fragrance Orphéon, highlighting the brand’s long-standing association with music and jazz - an influence linked to its founders and a recurring element of the brand’s identity.

The Maison has partnered with Berlin-founded and New York–based music discovery platform COLORSxSTUDIOS and London-based jazz quintet Ezra Collective.

As part of the collaboration, Ezra Collective revisits one of its emblematic tracks, "Enter the Jungle". Originally released on the group’s first EP,  the track has been reimagined in an exclusive version performed for Diptyque.

The collaboration results in a new interpretation intended to reflect the spirit of Orphéon through a contemporary jazz composition.

Performed by Ezra Collective, the track combines Afro-inspired rhythms with urban influences, creating a dialogue between jazz traditions and modern musical elements.

Through the partnership with COLORS and Ezra Collective, Diptyque aims to expand the cultural narrative surrounding Orphéon across digital platforms and connect with younger audiences through music.

The launch coincides with a new in-store activation dedicated to Orphéon. Running until 14 April, the installation is presented in the Ephemeral Space at Diptyque’s New Bond Street flagship store in London and is organised in collaboration with Parisian record store Superfly Records.

Diptyque opened its flagship boutique at 107 New Bond Street in 2024, occupying a three-storey apartment as part of a new retail concept known as Maisons Diptyque.

Designed as both a boutique and cultural venue, the space combines the brand’s product range with artistic and cultural programming within an architectural setting described as reminiscent of a Parisian apartment.

Within the store, the Ephemeral Space is used for seasonal installations, collaborations and art projects. For the current activation, the space has been dedicated to Orphéon.

The installation is designed to evoke the atmosphere of the Paris jazz bar that inspired the fragrance, offering a multi-sensory experience that combines scent and sound.

Orphéon’s composition draws on elements associated with the setting: cedar references the wood of tables and counters, tonka bean reflects tobacco notes, juniper berries evoke gin-based cocktails, and jasmine suggests the fragrances worn by visitors to the club.
