Diptyque has unveiled an expanded counter at Harrods in Knightsbridge, bringing its fragrance, candle, bath and home collections together within a redesigned 27-square-metre space.

The French fragrance house has added nine square metres to its previous Harrods presence. Diptyque said the renovation reflects its developing retail identity, guided by the concept Imagination Wanders and designed to encourage discovery across the brand’s product categories.

At the heart of the Harrods space is a bespoke 360-degree counter focused on Diptyque’s fragrance and candle businesses. Brushed oak is paired with marble-inlaid façades, a marble countertop and a Corian pyramid.

Terrazzo flooring incorporates irregular pieces of green, red and brown marble. The same materials continue across the cash desk and a secondary counter on the opposite side of the aisle.

Diptyque’s Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum collections occupy the section facing the aisle, while fragrance gestures are housed in drawers. Above this area is Les Essences de Diptyque, alongside the Intense range and 34 collection.

The opposite side is dedicated to candles, led by the house’s classic collection. Further displays around a column accommodate its 300g and 1.5kg candles, with tissue-paper gifting arrangements positioned above and below.

A bespoke work by British wrought-iron specialist Richard Hillam occupies the centre of the main counter. The wrought-iron artwork offers a new interpretation of a poppy field and has a patinated bronze finish.

The secondary counter features an arch bearing the Diptyque logo, a double Les Essences display and an animation area for product discovery. Mirrored stainless-steel units sit alongside wooden cabinets, linking the installation to Harrods’ existing architecture.

Diptyque’s bath collection is positioned on one side, with Les Mondes de Diptyque premium candles on the other. The lower section holds the remainder of the home range, including cold-diffusion products.

A gift-wrapping station offers personalisation stamping for boxes and pouches. Behind the main counter, a column finished in Diptyque’s signature green and detailed with classic mouldings references Parisian interiors.

The launch follows Diptyque’s recent investment in experiential London retail. Its Water Garden pop-up on New Bond Street, which runs until 31 August, presents the brand’s Summer 2026 collection in a temporary setting inspired by its Jardin des Eaux concept.
