Diptyque has revealed its newly remodelled Spitalfields Boutique, marking the brand's first UK store to feature its new retail concept.

The Spitalfields boutique is currently the largest Diptyque store in London, first opening in November 2018. Opening in early July 2022, the store has been reimagined to create a marriage between its Parisian roots and the East London location.

Described by Diptyque, the new store is the "ultimate destination to discover the Diptyque universe" and will house the brand's full product catalogue, including candles and fragrances, the Decoration collection and refillable fragrance service. It will also host private consultations.

At the entrance, customers will find an industrial British façade, along with a French mosaic which has been designed by an atelier in Paris. The boutique also features brick-cladded walls, a minimalistic fireplace and locally sourced decorative objects to pay homage to the brand’s birthplace in Paris. Along with a herbarium display of East London plants, designed by local artist Lucy Smith, displayed inside the store.

At the end of May, Diptyque opened a a two-week pop-up store on Sloane Street, paving the way for its new permanent Chelsea store set to launch later this year. The new UK flagship will open in October and will be the largest store in the UK, featuring the brand's full catalogue.

The news also follows the launch of Diptyque's new household cleaning range, to compliment the brand's existing selection of scented candles, perfumes and home decor.
