Diptyque's Amanda Morgan among winners of 2024 CEW Achiever Awards
Amanda Morgan, the Managing Director for Diptyque in the UK and Ireland, was celebrated among the winners of CEW UK's 2024 Achiever Awards at the Rosewood Hotel in London last night.
Having served as Managing Director since 2010, Morgan has played an "instrumental" role in growing the luxury fragrance brand's UK presence.
Under her leadership, the brand has expanded from a single store and a team of 25 to six stores and over 120 team members, including a flagship Sloane Street store and the recently launched Maison Diptyque on New Bond Street.
Morgan received the Achiever Award alongside Margaret Mitchell, Chief Commercial Officer at Space NK, Heela Yang, co-founder and CEO of Sol de Janerio, and Alice Du Parcq, fragrance presenter, expert and content creator.
Other winner highlights include:
Beauty industry veteran and entrepreneur Sue Y Nabi, who currently serves as the CEO of Coty, was named as the recipient of the 2024 The Icon Award.
Meanwhile, the Special Recognition Award was received by Vasiliki Petrou, who departed as CEO of Unilever Prestige earlier this year after founding the division a decade ago to bring a portfolio of premium beauty brands into the company.
Other highlights include the Special Industry Award, won by Simon Comins, Chief Commercial Officer at Superdrug, and Thierry Cheval, Managing Director of L'Oreal UK&I.
The Young Achiever Award recognised Katy Cottom, the founder and CEO of Luna Daily, whilst Vesa Kahlho, Head of Beauty Buying at Fenwick, won the Members Achiever Award.
The CEW Achiever Awards recognises outstanding talent at all levels, and contributions to the beauty industry at large.
Having first launched in 2002, yesterday's event brought together members and guests from across the industry to celebrate the shining stars of the British beauty scene.
