Dr. Idriss names Chief Marketing & Growth Officer to accelerate expansion

Dermatologist-founded skincare brand Dr. Idriss has appointed Tamera Ferro as its new Chief Marketing & Growth Officer.

Ferro joins the brand following a six-year tenure as Chief Marketing Officer at Sol de Janeiro, where she helped scale the company from a $30 million start-up into a "billion-dollar global phenomenon".

At Dr. Idriss, she will lead global brand strategy, marketing, and consumer growth initiatives, translating the brand’s clinical credibility and social following into sustained, large-scale impact.

"The potential is unmistakable. Dr. Idriss is the ideal brand to bring clarity, honest conversation, and real emotional resonance to clinical skin health, and that is where the future is headed," said Ferro.

Founded three years ago by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Shereene Idriss, the brand has built a community of millions through transparency, science-driven formulas, and "emotionally unfiltered" storytelling.

Entirely self-funded, Dr. Idriss has grown into one of Sephora’s fastest-rising skincare lines, and Ferro’s appointment comes as the brand deepens its exclusive partnership with the beauty giant.
