DREST innovates Gameplay with high-fashion hair by Sam McKnight
Interactive luxury styling game DREST has introduced 15 high-fashion digital hairstyles by Sam McKnight, in a nod to Digital Fashion Month.
From February 22 to March 8, individual Supermodel Cover Photoshoot challenges will be live in game for 72 hours, encouraging users to design their very own magazine cover looks featuring a Supermodel, hair by Sam McKnight, makeup by Mary Greenwell and fashion from over 200 of the world’s leading luxury brands.
McKnight, who designed virtual hairstyles for DREST’s Supermodel line-up including Imaan Hammam, Natalia Vodianova, Precious Lee, Irina Shayk, and Candice Huffine, has curated an assortment of virtual wigs from his runway and editorial archive, plus new digital hairstyles in a nod to Digital Fashion Month and the new Spring Summer 2021 season.
DREST users will be able to select the ‘Super Twist’ style from the Fendi AW20 Runway Show along with a ‘Dip Twist Pony’ from Valentino’s 45th Anniversary Show in 2007.
Colourful styles enhance the game’s fantasy element and include the ‘Ice and Rose Jagged Crop’ wigs from Chanel’s 2013 Cruise Show, the ‘Crop Star Blue’ wig from the Dries Van Noten AW20 Show and the Super Color Bow from Ashish’s AW20 Show.
