Here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Hydra-Restore Eye Patches, Grown Alchemist

I do love an eye patch - and one that promises to be “clinically proven to brighten, depuff and hydrate in just 10 minutes” has me practically running to the bathroom mirror to slap a pair on.

Enter Grown Alchemist’s Hydra-Restore Eye Patches. Crafted in Korea, these biotech-engineered, biodegradable hydrogel patches are saturated with serum and made from naturally derived Irish Moss and Carob Gum to deliver a high-performance hydrating active complex.

The formula brings together a line-up of skin-loving ingredients. Ectoin provides long-lasting hydration while helping to soothe and brighten tired-looking eyes. Allantoin and panthenol work to hydrate, calm and plump the delicate under-eye area. Meanwhile, caffeine helps stimulate microcirculation, targeting puffiness and leaving the eye area looking fresher and brighter.

Now available at Grown Alchemist, priced at £20 for eight pairs.

Light to Medium Self Tan Mousse, Bali Body

Along with the rest of the UK, I am devastated that summer appears to be coming to a very abrupt end and, unfortunately, with that, the very slight tan that I’ve managed to obtain also goes.

Bali Body has just launched a natural-looking tan which will help to pretend that summer is, in fact, not over. I’m not a big self-tanner, but this lightweight, skincare-infused option is a great pick for people like me who are just looking for something to give a natural glow.

The buildable formula is infused with coconut oil and chamomile extract, as well as pomegranate and coffee seed extracts, all of which help to hydrate, condition and protect your skin.

The Complete Carebrush, Tangle Teezer

I first tried the ultimate detangler, Tangle Teezer's iconic brush head as a young adult, and it was the first time I had a brush that easily detangled my fine (easily knotted) hair without pain.

Since then, I think the interest in the category has really grown, with many new brand entrants and quite a few innovations, from Foreo introducing red light technology, to Killabrush introducing the first-ever antibacterial hair brush. Quite a lot has been happening, in other words, so it's great to see that Tangle Teezer is once again pushing the envelope of the category with the launch of its "Complete Carebrush", a hair tool that it promises will smooth, shine, massage and detangle hair all in one go.

The brush features a larger head and a new diagonal teeth pattern with alternative spaced oval and triangular shaped teeth, which allows hair to flow through the brush at any angle with the least resistance and less breakage. 70% of users have reported less hair breakage after using the brush, while 80% said they agree that it's unlike any brush that they have used before.

I'm currently trying to grow out my hair, so I have been obsessively looking at breakages in my hair while trying to be extra gentle with it after washing and drying it. I hadn't really considered the effects my hairbrush would have on this, if I'm being quite honest, so this is an intriguing concept.

I also have to say that the before and after images on the brand's website look very interesting - if the brush actually does deliver the shining mane the pictures show, I will be sure to walk into my nearest Boots and get my hands on it this weekend.

The Complete Carebrush will be available at Boots, Amazon, John Lewis, M&S, ASOS and Selfridges from 1 September and retails at £22.

Olaplex

Shape Set Hairspray, Olaplex

Olaplex has entered the dry styling category for the first time with the launch of Shape Set Hairspray, designed to provide flexible hold while supporting the brand’s focus on hair repair.

The hairspray is aimed at both professional and at-home use, with Olaplex positioning it as an alternative to formulas that can leave hair feeling stiff or dry.

The formula features the brand’s new Bond Set Technology, which includes an encapsulated peptide designed to reconnect broken disulfide bonds during styling. It also offers UV protection and is formulated for all hair types and textures.

Priced at £32, Shape Set Hairspray is now available online from Olaplex and Space NK.
