From Byoma and Ultra Violette's SPFs to Ren Clean Skincare's nourishing mist, and more, here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Byoma

Ultralight Face Fluid SPF50, Byoma

As a fan of both Byoma and sun protection, this week's new launch has got me excited! The viral brand's new Ultralight Face Fluid SPF50 is attempting to "revolutionise" the category with a skin barrier-first approach. And, true to Byoma’s reputation, it’s also affordable - priced at just £14.99. Here's what you need to know...

Boasting an ultra-hydrating formulation, the SPF features "groundbreaking" UV filters, as well as barrier-boosting complexes and actives to repair the damage caused by UVA and UVB rays - think all the protection with none of the drawbacks like greasiness or white cast.

It also targets signs of ageing and promises to lock in moisture, boost the skin’s natural healing process, and support the skin barrier, all while offering effective, broad-spectrum protection.  Available at Space NK, Boots, Sephora, Cult Beauty and Amazon.

Crystal Foot File, Leighton Denny

It's time to talk about a taboo subject: dry feet. Don't worry, this won't be the first time I've divulged my beauty secrets online. Since I tried Leighton Denny's Crystal Foot File (£22), I knew it was only a short time before I was bringing the taboo topic to the internet. But, with sandal season approaching, what better time?

Say goodbye to rough, neglected feet, thanks to the two-step hard skin and callus removal tool is designed to transform dry, cracked heels into silky-smooth perfection with minimal effort. Crafted with precision and innovation, this expertly engineered foot file gently removes and smooths thickened problem skin and helps to prevent it from returning, leaving your feet feeling soft and refreshed.

For years, beauty lovers have trusted the tool's older sister, the Crystal Nail File. Created two decades ago, the crystal nail file has since won over 16 industry awards and for good reason. Now, the award-winning brand is bringing the same hand care to your feet. Prepare for your best pedicures yet.

Future Fluid SPF 50+ Superlight Mineral Skinscreen, Ultra Violette

Believe it or not, I had yet to try a mineral SPF. That was until I tried Ultra Violette's new Future Fluid SPF 50+ Superlight Mineral Skinscreen. I'm a convert. It really is the "future" of SPF. Powered by zinc, the formula promises the benefits of a mineral sunscreen without the heaviness or chalkiness. Plus, it's packed with vitamin E, squalane, and pentavitin, ensuring your skin stays soothed and hydrated on hot summer days.

Ava Chandler-Matthews, Ultra Violette co-founder, said: "I am so excited to bring Future Fluid into the world because there isn’t anything like this on the market. We really wanted to turn the perception of zinc on its head: it can be lightweight and cosmetically elegant. I think one of the most exciting things about this product is how it’s been formulated, which is an oil-in-water emulsion vs a water-in-oil emulsion.

"When you feel Future, everyone is just astounded at how light it is. The drydown and finish are almost imperceptible – you really feel the watery-ness of it. It is true innovation and such a great option for so many skin types."

OGX

Bond Protein Repair range, OGX

My hair is dried, fried and petrified. I wash it too much, I dye it (well I don't, my hairdresser does), I straighten it – don't be like me. On the upside (I'm always trying to find one), this does mean I am an excellent test bed for damage repair haircare. I also need to look at my scalp, but that's for another day.

I've found with haircare that some of the best results come from some of the mass-market brands. I love luxury haircare but OGX is proof that luscious locks don't need to costs megabucks.

It has just launched this comprehensive bond repair range that works on two levels to repair hair; cleverly it simultaneously bonds within the hair’s cortex and binds over the hair’s surface, which some of its more expensive competitors cannot do. Also it gets better the more you use it.

"OGX Bond Protein Repair utilises a dual action repairing mechanism that allows it to repair the hair from the inside while also working to strengthen the surface," explains, Frank Sun, R&D. "Even after five washes we’re able to demonstrate that hair retains the repairing benefit. And with convenience front of mind, you don’t need to use the entire regimen to see results. We have designed this OGX Bond Protein Repair range to deliver a noticeable improvement even if you just use the shampoo and conditioner, but you get even greater benefits from using the collection."

I'm into using collections as a whole and with this line you get shampoo, conditioner, a 1 Minute Treatment, for when your hair is feeling particularly needy, a Protein Repair Sealing Serum and a Protein Repair Multibenefit Oil. They are all brilliant and the prices range from £9.99 to £11.99.

Further good news reaches me that a Protein Repair Leave-in Conditioning Mist is on the way soon. You can bet I will be reaching for that too. The rest of the range is now available at Boots and Superdrug.
