Editors' Picks: New launches from Byoma, Phlur, OMALY and more...
Here are some of this week’s news and features highlights handpicked by TheIndustry.beauty team.

Foaming Rice Deep Cleanser, Byoma
Like many, I’m a big fan of Byoma - affordable skincare that genuinely supports your skin barrier? Yes, please! After trying several of the brand’s products, I couldn’t resist exploring their latest launches. With the new Foaming Rice Deep Cleanser (and the Hydrating Milky Moisturiser, which I’ll get to below), I’m excited by these additions and am keen to give them a try.
The foaming cleanser starts as a light, airy foam that transforms into a rich, creamy lather, delivering a luxurious and sensorial cleansing experience.
Infused with rice extract, the product provides gentle exfoliation, while marine algae promotes long-lasting hydration. Enriched with Byoma’s Barrier Lipid Complex, it also helps strengthen and replenish the skin’s natural barrier, removing impurities without stripping essential moisture. What more could want?

Cashmere Skin Hair & Body Fragrance Mist, Phlur
Back in my teen years, Victoria's Secret Pink body mists were my go-to. Remember those rectangular plastic pink bottles that would mist out a faux vanilla fragrance, which would later flood school hallways? Well, imagine its grown-up sister, and you’ve got Phlur's new Cashmere Skin Hair & Body Fragrance Mist - just that.
Available exclusively at Space NK, this scent is the definition of cosy season bottled: soft, warm, and indulgent. Think freshly washed knits, skin still warm from the shower, and the faint sweetness of vanilla lingering in the air. It opens with creamy almond and a whisper of cyclamen before melting into smooth sandalwood and vanilla. The base of ambrette and musk gives it that second-skin quality Phlur is known for.
Created by perfumer Constance Georges-Picot, the mist captures everything I want on a grey November day - a comforting warmth that makes you want to wrap yourself in layers (each spritzed with the fragrance, of course).
Available in two sizes (£25 for 3 oz and £38 for 8 oz), Cashmere Skin is the kind of scent you’ll want within reach all winter long.

Hydrating Milky Moisturiser, Byoma
That's right - I'm spotlighting not one, but two new launches from Byoma this week, and as appealing as the first may be, the new Milky Moisturiser has completely captured my attention as a true hydrating hero.
The new Milky Moisturiser is a super-fluid, lightweight formula that promises weightless nourishment while reinforcing your skin’s natural barrier with Byoma’s signature Barrier Lipid Complex. Infused with polyglutamic acid, it locks in moisture for long-lasting hydration, while cica (centella asiatica) works to soothe irritation and calm redness, leaving your complexion balanced and refreshed for a natural, dewy finish.
Designed as the perfect companion to the viral Hydrating Milky Toner, this dynamic duo delivers deep, lasting hydration and leaves skin looking healthy, radiant, and nourished. For anyone serious about hydration and healthy-looking skin, this pair promises moisture that "feels as good as it looks". I'm sold!

Seaweed-Centric Skincare Line, OMALY
This is a nice range to put on your radar, not least because it marks the first foray back into the beauty world for Julian Kynaston since moving on from disruptive make-up brand Illamasqua. Kynaston is working alongside OMALY brand founder Ann-Marie O’Shea on this skincare line, which is rooted in traditional Irish coastal remedies.
OMALY is based on the extraordinary properties of seaweed, which is hand-harvested from the Irish West Coast during a full moon. Why a full moon? Well, this ritual is believed to protect the integrity of the seaweed’s bioactive compounds.
This ancient practice remains central to OMALY’s ethos, ensuring each product delivers 92 of the body’s 102 essential vitamins and minerals required for optimal bodily function directly to the skin. This unique extract is then blended with the highest-quality organic ingredients to create a collection that nurtures, fortifies, and illuminates the complexion.
Ireland’s seaweed contains uniquely high concentrations of collagen-supporting compounds, including Vitamin C, silica, and marine minerals. In contrast with the beauty industry’s current obsession with collagen drinks and powders (going to be honest, I am obsessed too), OMALY’s marine-rich formulations work by stimulating the skin's inherent collagen production at the source. This bypasses the digestive system entirely, avoiding the inefficiencies of digestive absorption.
Seven products have been revealed as part of the brand launch, including Beauty Drops, Rescue Balm, Seaweed Massage Oil, Cleansing Lotion, Day Moisturiser, Night Moisturiser, and Exfoliating Seaweed Soap.
Would I stop ingesting collagen and use this instead? No, but I welcome the additional collagen boost these products bring, and I love the story behind them.
