Here are some of this week’s news and features highlights handpicked by TheIndustry.beauty team.

Rouge Noir, Chanel

There’s something about Chanel’s limited-edition collections that always feels a little bit magnetic. They're always impeccably considered and destined to sell out before you’ve finished debating whether you really need another lipstick (you do). Rouge Noir is no exception.

Rooted in the house’s iconic codes yet reworked through Global Makeup Artist Ammy Drammeh’s modern lens, the collection taps into that sweet spot Chanel does so well: timeless shades with a subversive edge. It’s the kind of edit that feels just as relevant on a weekday as it does under evening lights.

At the heart of the collection is Rouge Noir Confidence, a multi-use palette that sets the tone for everything else. But for me, the star is the Baume Essentiel (Chanel's stick highlighter, which was sent into the stratosphere after Sophie Richie was seen using it). The limited edition shade Cute gives skin that glassy lit-from-within glow Chanel does so well.

Like all great Chanel limited editions, Rouge Noir feels collectable but not precious. These pieces are designed to be worn, played with and reached for long after launch.

Collagene Expert Melting Cleansing Balm, Gatineau

There’s nothing quite like a cleansing balm to effortlessly melt away makeup, excess oils and daily impurities. For me, that moment of indulging in a fresh, clean feeling is pure bliss - and Gatineau's latest launch makes it even more irresistible.

Introducing the Collagene Expert Melting Cleansing Balm (£48), a hybrid gel-to-balm that promises deep cleansing without stripping your skin. Its lightweight formula leaves skin feeling hydrated and "cashmere-soft" - no greasy residue in sight.

Infused with a nourishing blend of 10 lightweight oils and butters, this balm supports the skin’s barrier, soothing and conditioning for lasting comfort. Sub-tropical fruit seed oil and biotech squalane help calm and replenish, while ceramides and hyaluronic acid lock in moisture for plump, supple skin.

But it doesn’t stop at cleansing. A Phyto-Collagen Complex and polypeptides work to refine fine lines, firm the skin, and promote a radiant, healthy glow.

Available now at Gatineau.

Limited-edition It’s All Rosy candle, Neom Wellbeing

I'm not usually one for rose scents, but Neom has blended geranium and orange with rose to create a calming, spa-like fragrance that brings inner peace and relaxation to your home. It is made with 11 essential oils and hand-finished in the UK.

The candle is part of a limited-edition collection that includes candles, Hand Balm, Wellbeing Pod Mini+ and an Essential Oil Blend, all designed to bring calm into everyday life, powered by 100% natural fragrance.

The candle comes in two sizes: 3-Wick (420g) for £58 and Travel Size (75g) for £21, available at online at Neom Wellbeing.

Merit

Signature Lip Blush, Merit

As it celebrates its fifth birthday, the minimalist and multi-tasking beauty brand Merit has introduced the Signature Lip Blush. As with all Merit makeup, this lipstick is designed to be effortless to use. It delivers a softly blurred, velvet finish; you can slick on one coat for a sheer matte look or build up the colour for more impact.

In order to deliver the even application, Merit has use gel-wrapped pigments in olive oil, which also has the benefit of delivering deep hydration. Also, because of this formulation, there's no cakey dry-down, which can be the downfall of other matte lipsticks. Instead, with this one, you are left with a pleasingly natural matte finish with no compromise on staying power.

Anti-feathering technology ensures the colour stays where you want it (on your lips, not around them!) and the colour fades naturally throughout the day without leaving harsh lines. Since it treats as well as embellishes, you should feel free to keep topping up throughout the day anyway.

If you are a fan of Merit, this is going to be another one of those products you take everywhere with you - alongside your house keys and phone. I don't leave home without a Merit Minimalist foundation stick or a Flush Balm for cheeks, and now I can add this to my can't-live-without list. If you are not yet a fan of Merit, try this (or any of its products) and you soon will be.

Priced at £25 and available in eight shades, the Signature Lip Blush is available now at Merit Beauty.

First Date Kit, Townhouse

There’s nothing like a seasonal event to spark a manicure craving - and with Valentine’s Day approaching, Townhouse has the perfect options for both in-salon indulgence and at-home pampering.

While a clean French manicure accented with delicate micro hearts (customisable in any French tip shade) is on offer for those in-salon, the brand has also launched the First Date Kit, an at-home manicure set designed to deliver a flawless finish.

The kit features Flawless Polish in Strawberry, alongside a Base Coat and Top Coat. It follows the launch of Townhouse’s debut nail polish line, The Flawless Collection, last year. Every detail, from the advanced formula to the ergonomic curved precision brush, has been crafted for smooth, precise application and a professional finish.

Available now at Townhouse.
